Access
All of the spaces in our building are wheelchair accessible. The garden has a little lip at the door frame. Once in the garden, the bottom of the garden is wheelchair accessible through a winding path.
There are public transport options to the centre, however due to the steep hill it sits on, if you have mobility issues we recommend accessing the centre by car. We share a car park with the Doctor’s Surgery and Pharmacy with two disabled spaces to the right of the car park. There is a curb before entering the building on the left of the car park, but a dip for most of the right-hand side.
We have a kitchen on site accessible through the hall. Please ask a member of staff if you need something heating up, water (hot or cold) or to store medication in the fridge.
Toilets: we have one accessible toilet in the entrance of the building on the left. This toilet has nappy changing facilities as well. We also have male and female toilets each with cubicles, pads & tampon dispensers, and sanitary bins.
Reception
A member of staff will be on hand at reception to talk about any enquiries.
Our foyer also holds our re-loved shop - all items are individually priced, and all proceeds go back into the centre. This is open whenever our reception is, and a member of staff is in to assist you in your purchases.
The Hall
Our main space for most of workshops and weekly sessions.
The room contains lots of wooden/carpeted chairs and several wooden tables.
This is also one of the buildings access points to the centres’ garden outside, through two patio-style doors.
Maggie’s Meeting Room
A meeting space used for workshops, sessions and rehearsals.
This room usually has a few chairs and a couple small tables available to use in workshops.
